Happy fall, Shana Tova, happy Bisexual Visibility Day, and happy birthday Al Cisneros! I spent the last few days celebrating with my family who all came down to the middle of nowhere Central Texas to hang out. They were maybe not celebrating the birth of Al Cisneros as much as I was. This visit included the stop at the San Marcos River pictured above.

In writing news, the Fearmoji anthology from Slashic Horror Press, which features my evil Buc-ee’s story “The Beaver Weaves as the Beaver Wills,” is now available for pre-order. The release date is December 15, so it will be in your hands just in time for the holidays.

If you just can’t wait, we do have ARCs available if you’d like to read the anthology in advance in exchange for your honest review of it on Goodreads or Amazon or wherever you like to post book reviews. Just let me know.

I’m hoping fall will start feeling more like fall here in Texas soon so I can really get into the spooky season spirit. I’m working on some new stuff and have things on submission so I’m hoping to get more spooky stuff in the pipeline for all of you soon!
